Felder opens Canadian site; Casadei Busellato prepares Flexa 43 for Xylexpo 2026
The Felder Group opened an approximately 24,000 sq ft Canadian location in October 2025, while Casadei Busellato announced the Flexa 43 edge bander for Xylexpo 2026.
The Felder Group opened a new Canadian location of roughly 24,000 square feet in October 2025, adding warehouse, showroom and service capacity in a market where local stock and technician availability drive purchase decisions.
The facility model is increasingly standard among European builders: rather than shipping every machine direct, the group holds finished machines and spare parts locally so that delivery times are quoted in days rather than weeks.
Separately, Casadei Busellato announced the Flexa 43 edge bander ahead of Xylexpo 2026 in April, continuing the product-cycle pattern in which Italian builders use the Milan show to launch machines aimed at mid-sized furniture factories.
In a competitive market where machine architecture is converging, the differentiators that surface at launch are less about novel mechanics and more about changeover speed, glue-line quality and how quickly a factory can get trained operators running the machine.
Both moves illustrate the same underlying dynamic: as the panel furniture equipment market grows toward USD 6.31 billion by 2032, suppliers are competing less on the machine itself and more on the complete delivery, training and service package around it.
